The diverse local environment has a stunning range of wildlife including abundant deer, otters, pine martens, eagles and sea eagles.
The most amazing creatures are at home in our local waters. Dolphins and porpoises are present all year round along with seals, otters and seabirds. During the migratory season Killer Whales, Humpback Whales, Minke Whales and Basking Shark are regularly observed.
The best period for whale watching is between mid June and end September. Why not arrange a trip and give yourself the best opportunity to observe whales in Scotland.
